So, what can a VERY private individual tell you about respecting your privacy? The Moose does not, will not, never ever in a million years, hope to die and spit in his eye, collect information about you involving one or more of the following acts: rent, sell or exchange information. For one thing, he doesn't have this information; secondly, he's far too interested developing great software to spend time on this kind of nonsense.

Now, The Moose has absolutely no problem telling you that each computer's IP address that visits his web site is logged in our web log files. (But then, this is no different from anybody else). That information we keep to ourselves, for it tells us just what pages people find interesting, and the like. As you know, the IP address is just that, and there no way to tag the IP address with the name, age, height, race, religion, political affiliation, telephone number, social security number, etc. of the web surfer on the other end. And if there were, The Moose would not be interested, because he's not a control freak.

For those of you who send e-mail to the Moose, any personal information is removed should we decide to showcase your letter on our web site.

WunderMoosen Store

The WunderMoosen store does collect personal information when you register or purchase from the web store. This information is limited to that necessary to conduct a sale or support your use of our products and it is store only in our private database. Your credit card information is not saved in this database. Some of your personal information is shared with the credit card processor only for the purpose of conducting the sale. In some cases we deliver product to you via e-mail so it is important that we have an accurate e-mail address for you on file. You can modify your account information yourself and it is important that you enter accurate information into your store account. This information is necessary for conducting the sale as well as allowing us and you to recover such information as lost serial numbers etc.

General

We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims. We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of the WunderMoosen terms of use, or as otherwise required by law. We may transfer information about you if WunderMoosen is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, WunderMoosen will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Children

The Moose truly believes that there is nothing offensive on this web site for children, still, parents should be encouraged to monitor their children's Internet activities. We do not solicit information from children. We only track computer IP addresses (explained above.) Parents should supervise children if that are going to use the WunderMoosen Store.
